Metropolitana Milanese periodically opens up its plants to the general public and schools and its staff are available to explain the operations of the Waterworks and Wastewater services and its construction sites in the engineering area.
Waterworks and Wastewater services
Book a group tour of the water treatment plants, of the sewer structures or of Spazio Acqua, the Milan Waterworks Museum. Fill in all the fields and you will be contacted as soon as possible. All tours are guided and free of charge; they take place from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm every second Tuesday of the month unless notified otherwise.
The construction sites
You can also visit the construction sites of the large infrastructures in Milan. Visits depend on the work progress and on safety conditions, at the Site Manager’s discretion. To request a visit, contact: comunicazione@metropolitanamilanese.it
